This
chapter
identifies
the
location
of
the
various
LEDs
on
your
N3700
storage
system
and
explains
how
to
interpret
LEDs
for
basic
monitoring.

base

your
N3700
storage
system
describes
the
functions
of
each
LED
on
your
N3700
storage
system
and
the
suggested
course
of
action.

Monitoring
the
front
operation
panel
The
front
operation
panel
has
five
LEDs
and
a
disk
shelf
ID
display.
The
LEDs
indicate
whether
your
system
is
functioning
normally
or
whether
there
are
problems
with
the
hardware.
You
can
also
identify
any
hardware
failure
associated
with
the
front
operation
panel
of
the
N3700
storage
system
from
the
error
messages
displayed
on
your
system
console.
Location
of
LEDs
shows
the
location
of
the
disk
shelf
ID
display
and
the
front
panel
LEDs.
