Cabling a high availability NAS or iSCSI configuration
This task illustrates how to cable an active/active (or high availability) NAS or iSCSI configuration with
two quad-port SAS HBAs supporting two stacks of expansion units with multipath connectivity.
1.
Daisy-chain the SAS ports, as shown in Figure 12.
2.
Cable the first shelf connections, as shown in Figure 13.
3.
Cable the last shelf connections, as shown in Figure 14 on page 10.
