Installing and removing disk drives in carriers (DDICs)

Installing a DDIC

To install a DDIC, complete the following steps:

1.

Insert the DDIC into the slot, and then push it down until it stops, as shown in the following figure.

2.

Slide the top latch in the direction of the arrow until the latch clicks into place (see Figure 6).

Removing a DDIC

To remove a DDIC, complete the following steps:
