This section illustrates three ways in which the SAS Connectivity Card (CIOv) can be used in 

configurations.

External DS3200 attachment

Figure 3 shows the supported topology for the SAS Connectivity Card (CIOv) and an IBM System Storage 

DS3200 storage server connected to the BladeCenter E or BladeCenter H chassis. In this configuration, 
the RAID functionality is provided by the external DS3200 storage server.
