2. Grasping it by the bale, gently but firmly pull the SFP out of the port (see

Figure 23).
3. Replace the protective cover on the SFP module.
4. Place the SFP module into a static-protective package.
5. Replace the protective cover on the switch port.
6. Repeat this procedure for any additional SFPs, as required.
