Replacing a system processor module in the 9183-22X system
To replace a system processor module, complete the steps in this procedure.
Procedure
1. Ensure that you have the electrostatic discharge (ESD) wrist strap on and that the ESD clip is plugged
into a ground jack or connected to an unpainted metal surface. If not, do so now.
2. Remove dust and debris from the system processor socket area.
If dust or debris is present, use the supplied air pump to clean the system processor socket area.
3. Prepare the system processor module for installation:
a) Open the latches that hold the system processor module in the supplied removal tool (A). Push
down on the ring (B) while pressing in on the tabs (C).
