The connectors on the audio cables provided do not fit the
connector on your audio adapter.
Some audio adapters might require a special cable. See the documentation that
comes with your sound adapter.
You might have to purchase separately an audio cable for the 12x8x32x CD-RW
drive. The audio-out connector on the 12x8x32x CD-RW drive requires a
MPC-2 compliant Molex 70553 or equivalent connector. (To locate the drive
audio connector, refer to “Back view of the drive” on page 1-4.) If you are
using an IBM computer or IBM sound adapter, refer to “Appendix D. Help and
service information” on page D-1 for assistance.
You get “buffer underrun” error messages when copying
CDs or making data CDs.
Take the following actions:

If the file source is a network or removable device, copy the files to the local
hard disk first.

If using CD copier, select Advanced and check the Copy to Hard
Disk option.
v
Try reducing the write speed to 8x, 6x, 4x, or 2x.
v
Make sure the source and target drives are being operated in DMA mode.
