rear
adapter-retention
bracket;

rotate

bracket
to
the
closed
(locked)

rear
retention
bracket
rests
against
the
computer
side
cover.

find
it
easier
to
lay
the
computer
on
its
side
to
replace
the
side
cover.

optional
SCSI
adapter
You
can
install
an
optional
SCSI
adapter
in
your
computer
to
control
the
internal
hard
disk
drives
and
provide
additional
RAID
capabilities.
With
a
SCSI
adapter
installed,
you
can
configure
the
internal
hard
disk
drives
into
disk
arrays.
You
can
also
cable
a
SCSI
adapter
to
external
hard
disk
drives.

notes
describe
information
that
you
must
consider
when
cabling
an
optional
SCSI

cables
that
are
used
by
the
integrated
SCSI
controller
cannot
be
used
with
an
optional
SCSI
adapter.

If
you
install
a
ServeRAID
6i+
adapter,
it
must
be
installed
in
slot
3;
no
cabling
is
required
for
this
adapter.
