This chapter describes the procedures for setting configuration storage values. It
explains the two types of configuration storage (custom and non-custom) and
describes how to create and save them in printer memory.
Custom Sets
There are eight custom sets (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H) that you can create and
retain. Custom sets contain values for the following parameters:

Twinax Configuration
– All, except Printer Address
v
Coax Configuration
– All, except Screen Buffer Size and Programmed Symbols
v
Parallel Configuration
– All, except Printer Compatibility 6 (Init), Interface Type, Input Buffer Size,
Select-In Signal, and AutoFeed XT
v
Serial Configuration
– All, except Interface Type, Input Buffer Size, Data Bits, Baud Rate, Parity,
Pacing Protocol, and Connection Type
v
Printer Setup
– All, except Paper Source
v
Display Language
v
Printer Adjustments
– All, except Bidirectional Adjustment, Sensor Tune, and Quit from Menu.
Non-Custom Set
The non-custom set contains parameter values that stay the same, no matter which
custom set you are using. The following parameter values are saved in this part of
printer memory:
