Symptom
Action
One
or
more
DPI
blades
are
unable
to
communicate
with
the
network.
1.
Make
sure
that
your
network
is
configured
correctly
and
that
there
are
no
duplicate
IP
addresses.
2.
Make
sure
that
the
RAVE
application
routes
traffic
to
the
applicable
ports.

Symptom
Action
The
Power-control/unbind
button
does
not
work.
1.
Reseat
the
control
panel
connector.
2.
Replace
the
bezel
assembly.
3.
Make
sure
that
the
blade
is
correctly
bonded
to
the
CPOS
image.
4.
Make
sure
that
Enabled
Local
Power
on
the
advanced
management
module
is
enabled.
5.
Replace
the
DPI
blade.
The
DPI
blade
does
not
turn
on.
1.
Make
sure
that
the
DPI
blade
is
bonded
to
the
ASM.
2.
Check
the
function
of
the
shared
BladeCenter
unit
resources.
3.
Make
sure
that
the
power-on
LED
on
the
control
panel
is
flashing
slowly.
If
the
power-on
LED
is
flashing
rapidly
and
continues
to
do
so,
the
DPI
blade
is
not
communicating
with
the
advanced
management
module.
4.
Reseat
the
DPI
blade.
5.
If
the
power-on
LED
is
off,
replace
the
DPI
blade
or
LED
information
panel.
The
blade
bay
is
not
receiving
power.
6.
Check
the
management-module
log
of
the
corresponding
DPI
blade
for
an
error
that
is
preventing
the
DPI
blade
from
turning
on.
7.
If
you
tried
another
DPI
blade
in
the
blade
bay
when
you
checked
the
function
of
the
shared
BladeCenter
unit
resources
and
the
other
DPI
blade
worked,
replace
the
DPI
blade.
