The network cable is connected to the Ethernet port on the active
(redundant) management module.

The network cable is not connected to the serial port on the active
(redundant) management module.

The IP address or host name is correct.

An external USB device is not
recognized by any blade server.
Note:
The BladeCenter HT unit
supports one external USB hub.
1. Make sure that the active blade server and the installed operating system
support USB devices.
2. Make sure that the blade server is enabled to use a USB device. See your
blade server documentation for more information.
3. Make sure that the USB device is powered-on.
4. Make sure that the blade server is turned on and owns KVM control. See the
blade server documentation for more information.
5. Check the LEDs on the multiplexer expansion module.
