Top cover

1. Power OFF the printer by either powering off the terminal or unplugging the

external power source from the electrical outlet.

2. Perform the removal procedure for the fiscal interface assembly (see page 6).

3. Remove the two screws from the bottom of the printer.

4. See Figure 5 on page 9. Open the paper cover. Place the top of the

screwdriver handle between the side of the printer and the top cover. Then
close the top cover on the screwdriver, one side at a time. This frees the pivots
on both sides. Slide the paper cover forward and out.

5. Open the ribbon cover using the lift tab. From the right side, push the ribbon

cover towards the left side while pressing the lock tab, and remove.
