Configuring
the
server
The
following
configuration
programs
and
utilities
come
with
the
server:

Configuration/Setup
Utility
program
The
Configuration/Setup
Utility
program
is
part
of
the
basic
input/output
system
(BIOS).
You
can
use
this
program
to
configure
serial
port
assignments,
change
interrupt
request
(IRQ)
settings,
change
the
startup-device
sequence,
set
the
date
and
time,
and
set
passwords.

Setup
and
Installation
CD
The
ServerGuide
program
provides
software-setup
tools
and
installation
tools
that
are
designed
for
the
server.
Use
this
CD
during
the
installation
of
the
server
to
configure
basic
hardware
features
and
to
simplify
the
installation
of
your
operating
system.
For
information
about
using
this
CD,
see

Boot
Menu
program
The
Boot
Menu
program
is
part
of
the
BIOS.
Use
it
to
override
the
startup
sequence
that
is
set
in
the
Configuration/Setup
Utility
program
and
temporarily
assign
a
device
to
be
first
in
the
startup
sequence.

Intel
Gigabit
Ethernet
Boot
Agent
program
The
Intel
Gigabit
Ethernet
Boot
Agent
program
is
part
of
the
BIOS
code.
You
can
use
it
to
configure
the
network
as
a
startable
device,
and
you
can
customize
where
the
network
startup
option
occurs
in
the
startup
sequence.
Enable
the
Intel
Gigabit
Ethernet
Boot
Agent
from
the
Configuration/Setup
Utility
program.

IBM
Director
IBM
Director
is
a
workgroup-hardware-management
tool
that
you
can
use
to
centrally

The
server
supports

only.
