Understanding the Adapter LEDs

The LEDs on the 10/100 Mbps Ethernet PCI Adapter II provide information about the
card’s operation status. The LEDs are visible through the card’s mounting bracket and,
when they are lit, indicate the following conditions:

1

100 TX LED (green)

Indicates the adapter is operating at the 100 Mbps data
rate. (If the adapter is operating at the 10 Mbps data
rate, the LED will not be lit.)

2

ACT/LINK LED (green)

Indicates packets are being received or transmitted
over the network
