3.6  Boot Settings 

 

 

BIOS Setting 

Description 

Setup Prompt Timeout 

Number of seconds to wait for setup activation 
key. 

65535 (0xFFFF) means indefinite waiting. 

Bootup NumLock State 

Selects the keyboard NumLock state. 

Quiet Boot 

Enables / Disables Quiet Boot option. 

Boot Option Filter 

This option controls Legacy/UEFI ROMs priority. 

Options: UEFI and Legacy, Legacy only, UEFI 
only 

Network PXE OpROM 

Controls the execution of UEFI and Legacy PXE 
OpROM.   

Options: Do not launch, UEFI, Legacy 

Boot Option Priorities
