Es werden zwei 3-V-Batterien im AAA-Format benötigt (R03, LR03,
L30).
Funktionen und Eigenschaften

POWER-Taste
Drücken Sie die Taste POWER, um das Gerät ein- oder auszu-
schalten. Falls nach dem Einschalten 20 Minuten lang kein Ein-
gangssignal registriert wurde, schaltet sich das MU30 automatisch
aus.

TUNER/METRONOME-Taste
Mit jedem Druck auf die TUNER/METRONOME-Taste schaltet das
MU30 zwischen den Betriebsarten TUNER (Stimmgerät) und ME-
TRONOME (Metronom) um. Im LCD erscheint einer der Einträge
CHROMATIC oder METRONOME.

FUNCTION-Taste
Wenn Sie die FUNCTION-Taste drücken, während der TUNER-
Modus gewählt ist, schaltet diese zwischen PITCH (Tonhöhe) und
FLAT (Tiefalteration) um.
Wenn Sie die FUNCTION-Taste drücken, während der METRO-
NOME-Modus gewählt ist, schaltet diese zwischen BEAT (Takt),
TEMPO, TAP (Mitklopfen) und RHYTHM (Rhythmus) um.

ADJUST-Tasten
Mit den ADJUST-Tasten stellen Sie den Wert für PITCH, FLAT,
BEAT, TEMPO, TAP oder RHYTHM ein, je nachdem, welchen Wert
Sie mit der FUNCTION-Taste ausgewählt haben.

Bedienung
[TUNER]
Drücken Sie die POWER ON/OFF-Taste, um das Gerät einzuschal-
ten.
Drücken Sie die Taste TUNER/METRONOME, um in den TUNER-
Modus zu schalten. In diesem Modus arbeitet das MU30 als chroma-
tisches Stimmgerät. Mit der FUNCTION-Taste und den
-Tasten
können Sie zwischen den Einstellungen PITCH und FLAT umschal-
ten.
Mit dem eingebauten Mikrofon können Sie auch eine akustische Gi-
tarre oder andere akustische Instrumente stimmen.
Wenn die Tonhöhe Ihres Instruments um mehr als 50 Cents (Hundert-
stel) von der richtigen Tonhöhe abweicht, stimmen Sie Ihr Instrument
so, dass der richtige Notenname im LCD erscheint und eine der bei-
den Richtungs-LEDs leuchten.
Wenn die Tonhöhe um weniger als 50 Cents von der richtigen Tonhö-
he abweicht, achten Sie auf die Nadel in der Anzeige und stimmen
Sie Ihr Instrument so, dass die Nadel auf der Position „0“ steht.
Wenn die Nadel die Nullstellung erreicht, leuchtet die mittlere LED auf
um anzuzeigen, dass Ihr Instrument richtig gestimmt ist.
●
Verwendung des SOUND-Modusö während des Stimmens
Wenn Sie die SOUND-Taste drücken, zeigt die NOTE den Eintrag „A“
an, und der Ton „A“ erklingt. Benutzen Sie die Tasten FUNCTION und
wie gewünscht, um die Einstellungen NOTE und/oder FLAT auf
die gewünschte Note einzustellen, und stimmen Sie Ihr Instrument.
[METRONOME]
Drücken Sie die POWER ON/OFF-Taste, um das Gerät einzuschal-
ten.
Drücken Sie die Taste TUNER/METRONOME, um in den METRO-
NOME-Modus zu schalten.
In diesem Modus arbeitet das MU30 als Metronom. Mit der FUNCTION-
Taste und den
-Tasten können Sie zwischen den Einstellungen
BEAT, TEMPO, TAP und RHYTHM umschalten.

BEAT-Einstellung
Stellen Sie mit der FUNCTION-Taste BEAT ein, und benutzen Sie
zur Einstellung der Grundtaktart (Anzahl der Schläge/Takt) im
Bereich von 0~7 Schlägen.
●
TEMPO-Einstellung
Stellen Sie mit der FUNCTION-Taste TEMPO ein, und benutzen Sie
zur Einstellung des Tempos im Bereich von 40~208 Schlägen
pro Minute.

TAP-Einstellung
Stellen Sie mit der FUNCTION-Taste TAP ein. Drücken Sie dann mehr-
fach auf die Taste
im gewünschten Tempo. Das MU30 erkennt das
Tempo und zeigt es an.
Wenn das erkannte Tempo langsamer ist als 39, zeigt die Anzeige
den Eintrag „LO“ (niedrig) an. Wenn es 209 oder höher ist, zeigt das
Display den Eintrag „HI“ (hoch) an.
Einsetzen oder Austauschen der Batterien
Schieben Sie die Batteriefachab-
deckung unten am Gerät in Pfeilrich-
tung. Legen Sie zwei Batterien der Grö-
ße AAA (Micro) in der richtigen Ausrich-
tung ein, und schieben Sie die Batterie-
fachabdeckung wieder zu.

Fonctions de l’accordeur

Fonctionnement
[ACCORDEUR]
Appuyez sur le bouton POWER ON/OFF pour mettre le MU30 sous
tension.
Appuyez sur le bouton TUNER/METRONOME pour passer en mode
TUNER. Le MU30 fonctionne alors comme un accordeur chromati-
que. Vous pouvez utiliser le bouton FUNCTION et les boutons
pour modifier les réglages PITCH et FLAT.
Le micro intégré vous permet également d’accorder une guitare sè-
che ou un instrument similaire.
Si la hauteur de votre instrument est supérieure à 50 cents par rap-
port à la hauteur juste, accordez votre instrument jusqu’à ce que le
nom de la note correcte s’affiche sur l’écran LCD et que l’un des té-
moins s’allume.
Si la hauteur se situe dans une fourchette de 50 cents de la hauteur
juste, observez l’aiguille de l’indicateur et accordez votre instrument
pour qu’elle se trouve sur la position “0”.
Lorsque l’aiguille de l’accordeur s’arrÍte sur “0”, le témoin du milieu
s’allume ; votre instrument est correctement accordé.

Utilisation du mode SOUND pendant l’accord
Lorsque vous appuyez sur le bouton SOUND, NOTE indique “A” et la
hauteur “A” se fait entendre. Au besoin, utilisez le bouton FUNCTION
et les boutons
pour modifier les réglages NOTE et/ou FLAT afin
d’obtenir la note souhaitée et accordez votre instrument.
[METRONOME]
Appuyez sur le bouton POWER ON/OFF pour mettre le MU30 sous
tension.
Appuyez sur le bouton TUNER/METRONOME pour passer en mode
METRONOME.

puyez ensuite plusieurs fois sur le bouton
au tempo souhaité. Le
MU30 détecte le tempo et l’affiche.
Si le tempo détecté est inférieur à 39, LO apparaît sur l’écran. S’il est
supérieur ou égal à 209, HI apparaît sur l’écran.
Installation ou remplacement des piles
Faites glisser le couvercle situé au dos
de l’appareil dans le sens de la flèche.
Insérez deux piles de type AAA dans le
bon sens et replacez le couvercle.

Functions and Features

POWER button
Press the POWER button to turn the power ON/OFF. If there is no
input for twenty minutes after the power was turned on, the MU30
will automatically turn off.

TUNER/METRONOME button
Each time you press the TUNER/METRONOME button, the MU30
will switch between TUNER mode and METRONOME mode. The
LCD will indicate either CHROMATIC or METRONOME.

FUNCTION button
If you’re in TUNER mode, pressing the FUNCTION button will switch
between PITCH and FLAT.
If you’re in METRONOME mode, pressing the FUNCTION button
will switch between BEAT, TEMPO, TAP, and RHYTHM.

Operation
[TUNER]
Press the POWER ON/OFF button to turn the power on.
Press the TUNER/METRONOME button to enter TUNER mode. In
this mode the MU30 functions as a chromatic tuner. You can use the
FUNCTION button and
buttons to change the PITCH and FLAT
settings.
By using the built-in mic you can also tune an acoustic guitar or similar
instrument.
If the pitch of your instrument is more than 50 cents away from the
correct pitch, tune your instrument until the correct note name ap-
pears in the LCD and one or the other guideline LED is lit.
If the pitch is within 50 cents of the correct pitch, watch the needle of
the meter and tune your instrument so that the needle is at the “0”
position.
When the tuner needle stops at “0” the center LED will light; your
instrument is tuned correctly.

Using SOUND mode while you tune
When you press the SOUND button, the NOTE will indicate “A” and
the “A” pitch will sound. As necessary, use the FUNCTION button and
the
buttons to change the NOTE and/or FLAT settings to the
desired note, and tune your instrument.
[METRONOME]
Press the POWER ON/OFF button to turn the power on.
Press the TUNER/METRONOME button to enter METRONOME mode.
In this mode the MU30 functions as a metronome. You can use the
FUNCTION button and
buttons to change the BEAT, TEMPO,
TAP, and RHYTHM settings.

BEAT setting
Use the FUNCTION button to select BEAT, and use
to select a
beat (time signature) in the range of 0~7 beats.

TEMPO setting
Use the FUNCTION button to select TEMPO, and use
to adjust
the tempo in the range of 40~208.

TAP setting
Use the FUNCTION button to select TAP. Then press the
button
several times at the desired tempo. The MU30 will detect the tempo
and display it.
If the detected tempo is less than 39, the display will indicate LO. If it
is 209 or higher, the display will indicate HI.
Installing or replacing the batteries
Slide the battery cover located on the
bottom of the unit in the direction of the
arrow. Insert two AAA batteries in the
correct orientation, and replace the bat-
tery cover.
