Slide provides no protection, but lets you get to the Home screen quickly, or open
Camera and start.
Pattern lets you draw a simple pattern with your finger to unlock the phone. This is
slightly more secure than Face Unlock.
PIN requires four or more numbers. Longer PINs tend to be more secure.
Password requires four or more letters or numbers. This is the most secure option, as
long as you create a strong password.
Owner info: The information of the owner can be stored and then can be displayed on
the lock screen.
Set up SIM card lock: Lock your SIM card for extra security. You can also change your
SIM card PIN from this screen. If you don’t know your SIM PIN, you can obtain it from
your wireless operator.
Make passwords visible: Select to have your password display as you type it. If you
uncheck this option then the password will not be displayed on the screen. Also, the
pattern lock that you will draw will not be visible on the screen making it more secure.
Device Administrator: On selecting this option, you can either view or deactivate
device administrators.
