Warning:
1.) The fuse on the
i-soamp-4
may only be
replaced with the same capacity (20 A)
in order to prevent damage to the
appliance. Higher capacities can entail
dangerous consequential damages!
2.) The
i-soamp-4
can transmit higher
output power to the loudspeaker than
the original radio. Most loudspeakers can
handle this without problems. But be
careful in handling the volume. Avoid
long-term excessive volumes that can
be noticed by an unpleasant distor ted
tone in order to prevent damage to
the loudspeakers. It is urgently recom-
mended that the tone control (bass /
treble) of the car radio be put in the
„Neutral“ medium position or set at „0.“
Experience has shown that this produ-
ces the best and most natural sound
impression and helps to avoid overloa-
ding the loudspeakers.
2. INITIAL OPERATION
2.1 Turn the radio on at low volume
2.2 After checking the functioning of the
various loudspeakers, turn the volume
up slightly on the radio. Then use i-so-
amp-4 level adjuster (if needed) to ad-
just the basic volume of the loudspea-
kers. The volume ampli
fi
cation ratio
of the front and rear loudspeakers as
well as the subwoofers can then be
adjusted with the corresponding level
controls (see „the controls“).
