Recurrent maintenance
– recurrent checks
Introduction
Recurrent checks should be carried out before starting up the functioning
cycle, to ensure the safety devices and main machine functions are working
properly.
ATTENTION
The instructions below must also be observed regularly during
the life cycle of the machine, to guarantee the constant
efficiency of all safety devices and all systems/circuits linked to
their control and functioning.
Recurrence
The recurrent maintenance of the machine must be carried out at regularly
scheduled intervals, to minimise downtime, optimise use and eliminate any
potential risks for the operators and the machine itself.
Use of maintenance
registers
The use of maintenance registers is strongly recommended, to establish the
parts to be replaced and/or component servicing intervals. In addition, these
registers allow a maintenance programme to be drawn up in advance,
compatible with the use of the vehicles.
Types of recurrent
maintenance
intervention
Recurrent maintenance is split into two categories:
Daily recurrent maintenance inspections.
Daily maintenance consists in checks made before and after start-up
to prevent machine and component breakage. These inspections
include, for example, checks for any oil leaks from the cylinders and
piping.
Recurrent maintenance programme.
The recurrent maintenance programme consists of regular
interventions required to keep the equipment working in perfect use
and safety conditions.
