SAFETY FEATURES
The new i30 comes standard with highly advanced
features. From Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), which
provides maximum braking force when a panic stop
is detected, and Electronic Brake-Force Distribution
(EBD), which automatically adjusts the braking force
to front and rear axles based on the vehicles loading
conditions, to doors that lock automatically at 15km/h,
when it comes to safety the new i30 is a cut above the
rest.
ELECTRIC MIRRORS
To maximise visibility, the i30 driver can quickly and
easily adjust the electronically controlled side mirrors
with the touch of a button, while the bright LED
indicators increase safety when turning or changing
lanes.
ELECTRONIC STABILITY PROGRAM
ESP continuously monitors vehicle directional stability
and tyre traction. If the system senses the car is
about to skid and risks spinning out of control, ESP
automatically intervenes applying the brakes over
individual wheels to prevent loss of directional control.
VSM (Vehicle Stability Management) comes with ESP,
which helps the vehicle maintain directional stability
when suddenly braking or rapidly accelerating under
asymmetric (wet/dry) road surface conditions where
traction among the four tires can suddenly become
uneven.
PARK ASSIST
Colour-coded sensors are discreetly mounted on the
rear bumper to enhance safety by sounding an audible
alarm when an obstacle is detected in reverse gear.
