Do not use the machine if you are unable to hold it with both hands or keep it steady on

Whenever the machine is to be handled or transported you must;

Turn off the motor, wait for the cutting device to stop and remove the battery from 

its compartment;

Only hold the machine using the handgrips and position the cutting device in the 

opposite direction to that used during operation. 

5.5.2.

 

When using a vehicle to transport the machine, position it so that it can cause no danger to 

persons and fasten it firmly.

How to handle and use battery powered tools properly

Makes sure the tool is switched off before inserting the battery in a power tool which is

battery contacts can lead to explosions or fires.

Liquid can leak from batteries when they are in bad condition. Avoid all contact with this 

liquid. Rinse thoroughly with water if accidental contact occurs. If the liquid comes into 
contact with the eyes, call a doctor immediately. Liquid leaks from batteries can cause skin 
irritation and even burns.

Check that the battery is in good working condition and there are no signs of damage.

Never use the machine with a worn or damaged battery.
