Blade removal. 

4.2.1

 

When the machine is supplied the blade is fitted. Follow the steps below to 

remove it. 

4.2.2

 

Line up the hole in the carrier plate (Fig 1: 3) with the notch beneath it 

and lock the carrier plate with the size 4 Allen Key. 
4.2.3

 

Remove the securing nut for the blade using the supplied spark plug wrench 

(Fig. 2) Important: Left-handed thread! 
4.2.4

 

Remove the pressure plate cover (Fig. 3: 5) and the pressure plate (Fig.3: 4). 

4.2.5

 

The blade (Fig. 3: 3) can now be removed. 

4.2.6

 

To assemble, proceed in reverse order. Please note that the side of the 

pressure plate with recess must point towards the blade. 

4.3

Pull the spark plug cover

(1)

 off, unscrew the 

spark 

plug using the plug 

wrench

.

4.3.2 Adjust new spark plug as shown and refit.

4.3.2.1  Stop machine and wait for it to cool down.

4.3.2.2 Clean spark plug and adjust spark plug electrode (1) gap to between  

 

0.6 mm to 0.8 mm.

4.4

4.4.1

To turn the machine off, the switch has to be in “STOP” position.

When trimming and cutting make sure you follow any bylaws in 

force in your area.

Do not mow at night. 

4.4.1.4

 

Before starting work remove any hard objects such as stones, 

metal parts etc. – have to be removed. They could be thrown and cause 
personal or material damage. 
4.4.1.5

 

Working in high shrubs or bushes, the minimum working height 

must be above 150 mm so that you do not expose animals, such as 
hedgehogs, to any risk. 

4.3

4.3.1 Stop machine and wait for it to cool down.

 

4.3.2 Undo cover screw (1) remove cover (2) and

 

remove sponge filter (3).

 

4.3.3 Wash sponge in soapy water rinse in fresh

 

water, Dry completely then reinsert.

 

4.3.4 If filter is beyond cleaning the replace with a

 

new one.
