Always refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine off.
Whilst carrying out maintenance you must wear appropriate Personal Protective
Equipment (PPE) when using this machine.
Suggested PPE: Sturdy footwear, work gloves, long trousers and hearing protection.

Cleaning the external of the generator.
6.1
Use a damp cloth to wipe exterior surfaces.
6.2
A soft bristle brush may be used to remove dust, dirt, oil etc.
6.3
A vacuum cleaner may be used to pick up loose dirt and debris.
6.4
Low pressure air (not to exceed 25 psi) may be used to blow away dirt.
6.5
Check cooling air slots and openings on the generator. These openings must be kept
clean and unobstructed.
