Service more frequently when used in dusty areas.

These items should be serviced by your servicing dealer, unless you have the proper tools
and are mechanically proficient. Refer to use manual for service procedures.

For commercial use, long hours of operation to determine proper maintenance intervals.

Make sure all nuts, bolts and screws are tight.
10.5
Never store the equipment with petrol in the tank inside a building where fumes can reach an
open flame or spark. Allow the engine to cool before moving the grinder.

To reduce fire hazards, keep the engine and petrol storage area free of grass, dirt and
excessive grease.

Replace worn or damaged parts for safety. If the fuel tank has to be drained, this should be
done outdoors.

Check the oil level daily and add engine oil if required. Change engine oil every 100 hours of
use or every year, whichever comes first.

Frequently check the grinder and ensure to ensure all wood, bark and dirt deposits are
removed from beneath the deck.

Grease the main cutting blade shaft bearings every 20 hours of use. There is a grease nipple
on each bearing.

Check the tightening of all bolts and screws at regularly intervals.
10.12
If the grinder hits an obstacle violently, stop the grinder and take it to a specialist for
inspection.
