- Press a preset button (1-6) briefly to recall the correspondent stored station.
Note:
RDS (Radio Data System) service availability varies with areas. Please understand if RDS service is not available in you
area, the following service is not available, either.
AF (Alternative frequencies) function
Briefly press AF button to turn on or turn off the AF function. Symbol “AF” will appear on the display. The tuner will return to
Alternative Frequencies whenever the reception signal is getting worse.
AF symbol is on – the AF mode is on, RDS information is being received;
AF symbol is off – the AF mode is off;
AF symbol is flashing - the AF mode is on, RDS information is not being received.
Press and hold AF button to enable REGION ON/REGION OFF selection. You can select REGION ON or OFF by pressing AF
button.
REGION ON: PI code is checked when AF check is in progress.
REGION OFF: PI code and Coverage area is not checked when AF check is in progress.
TA (Traffic alarm) function
Press TA button briefly to select the TA mode on/off. Traffic announcement interrupts CD playback or radio listening when
broadcasted. To interrupt traffic announcement press TA button shortly; it will not switch off the TA mode. The set will return to
the previous operating mode. Under TA broadcasting, if the volume level is below 20, it increases to 20 and returns to its
previous value when the TA broadcast is over.
PTY (Program type) function
When PTY is selected, the radio starts to search corresponding PTY information and stops when the corresponding PTY
information is detected. If corresponding PTY information is not found, NO PTY is displayed.
Press PTY button once to choose Music mode, then press number buttons (1-6) to choose the needed program.
