Power supply

Battery operation

·

Open the battery compartment cover.

·

Insert 3 batteries (UM1, 4.5 V). Please observe correct battery polarities or the set will not work.

·

Close the battery compartment cover.

·

When the batteries are exhausted, they should be removed from the set to prevent leakage.

AC operation

·

The appliance is for household use only.

·

Before the first connecting of the appliance check that voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds the mains voltage in your home.

·

Insert the plug into the power supply.

Radio operation

·

Select your desired broadcasting band with Band switch.

·

Rotate the Tuning control regulator to receive the desired broadcast.

·

The Tuning Indicator will light up when the correct station is received and the station signal is sufficiently strong.

·

Adjust the level of sound with Volume control regulator.

·

Move the Tone switch to choose one of the four tones.

·

If you want to turn on the radio or make the volume louder, turn the Power switch/Volume control clockwise. If you want to turn off the radio or make
the volume lower, turn the Power switch/Volume control counter-clockwise.

Antenna

·

For FM reception, use the telescopic antenna. Pull out the antenna and change its length and angle for the best reception.

·

For SW reception, use the telescopic antenna. Pull out the antenna and keep it vertical to get the best reception.

·

The MW antenna is magnetic bar within the system. Rotate the unit to get the best reception.

Connections

Stereo headphone connecting

·

For private listening radio, insert 3.5 mm headphone into the stereo headphone jack.

·

Adjust volume control to the appropriate level as desired.

·

When the stereo headphone jack is plugged, speakers will disconnect automatically.
