Central Control Panel
There are three ways to control the DIS:
•
The Central Control Panel (on the console) allows access all system functions
o
Try using the “hard buttons” that surround the central Controller to
access these six different function areas
o
Try manipulating the central Controller to move between menus
and to make selections

For the driver
’
s safety and convenience, a few control switches are available
on the steering wheel
•
A wide range of system functions can also be controlled through voice
commands, called the Speech Dialog System or SDS
o
After clicking on the steering wheel SDS button, wait for the beep
and say “Help,” to get a main menu of system functions you can
control with voice commands
