Propeller shaft modifications
The propeller shaft is known as the group of all mechanical components responsible
for transmitting the rotation from the engine to the wheels.
It is recommended that no changes be made to propeller shafts that come installed
in the vehicle from factory. If, under certain circumstances, some changes should
be carried out, it is very important to install the propeller shafts properly, in order
to prevent the transmission of noise and vibrations.
When making modifications to the wheelbase, use only official parts provided or au
-
thorised by HMC. The best option is to choose a standard wheelbase from the range
supplied by HMC, in order to use an original propeller shaft.
In any case, it should be necessary a certificate of conformity issued by HMC.
