CFM
Cubic Feet per Minute.
Cut-In Pressure
The tank’s lowest pressure point at which the motor restarts
automatically to build pressure.
Cut-Out Pressure
The tank’s maximum pressure point at which the motor shuts off
automatically.
Cycle
The series of steps that a compressor performs.
Cycle Time
The amount of time for a compressor to complete one cycle.
HP
Horsepower required at the compressor shaft to perform.
PSI
Pounds per Square Inch; A unit of measure of pressure.
Regulator
Device used to change the pressure from the compressor.
SCFM
Standardized Cubic Feet per Minute; a measure of airflow.
