Different Pad Uses

Yellow
Pad -
Cutting Pad
The
Yellow
pad is used with cutting compounds.
These are the most aggressive products using high
levels of abrasive. A stiff pad which provides
compounds firm support when penetrating the
outer layers of the work surface. It’s recommended
to do 2-4 passes with this pad, depending on paint
condition and compound used.
Orange Pad

Polishing Pad
This pad will be used with polishing compounds,
which will really start to enhance a surfaces finish.
Softer than the
Yellow
, it helps to provide
compounds a more flexible foundation to apply
product. Completing 2-3 passes with pad will be
sufficient depending on the products used.
Black Pad -
After Care Pad
Used with wax’s and other after care products, the
black pad really helps to massage products into the
creases of a work surface. It is the softest of the
pads provided, providing a soft and gentle
application of products. This pad requires to least
amount of work, 1-2 passes with an after care
product should product ample protection.
