3. Before Use
3.1 Inserting Batteries
You can use the Ni-MH battery provided by us or three AA alkaline batteries prepared by yourself.
To insert batteries, do as follows:
1.
Slide the battery latch to the unlock position and then remove the battery cover.
2.
Insert the Ni-MH battery or three AA alkaline batteries following the polarity indicated in the battery
compartment and the instruction on the batteries.
3.
Put the battery cover into space and then slide the battery latch to the lock position.
3.2 Charging the Ni-MH Battery

Use the specified power adapter to charge the battery.

Before initial use, fully charge the battery to ensure optimum performance. You can charge the radio with battery
attached or charge the battery alone.
