Duramax Hyamp Long Handheld Torches

Service Manual 808290

4 – Component Replacement

Install the front shell

Make sure that the pilot terminal screw on the torch head is tightened to 17.3 kg∙cm (15 inch∙pounds).

Make sure the consumables have been removed from the torch.

Lay the right side of the front shell on a flat surface with the inside facing up.

Clamp the torch lead in place to keep it from moving.

Press the cap-sensor switch into its post hole and onto its mounting post in the shell.
