IEN HARDWARE REFERENCE

940043-002

Type RJ11

The Hypercom Type RJ11 cable (#810004-001 or #810004-002) is a male RJ11 to male
RJ11 cable. The cable is used to connect the IEN chassis with a ISDN-U or HDM14/28
module on a CID63 port processor, or a 2-wire DLA14 port processor. The length of the
cable is 1’ for -001 and 10’ for -002. Figure 4-28 illustrates the pinout for the Type RJ11
cable.

The Type RJ11 male connector is plugged into the back of the IEN chassis. The other RJ11
male connector is plugged into the ISDN jack. The Type RJ11 is also used for DBU
connections. Figure 4-29 illustrates the cable connection for the Type RJ11 cable.
