LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE
CHECK GEAR CASE OIL LEVEL
With spreader on level ground, check oil level at the sight glass on
the center gearcase “A”
Add recommended oil as needed. (See Selecting Gear Case Oil)
To add oil, remove fill cap at the top of the gearcase “B”
GREASE TOP BEATER BEARINGS
Grease the two bearings at the top of the vertical beaters every 8
hours of operation. Rear grease bank on beater side panel
CHECKING TIRES
1. Check tires daily for damage or noticeably low pressure.
2. Repair any cuts or breaks as soon as possible.
3. Protect tires from exposure to sunlight and petroleum
products or chemicals.
