6 Connecting pressure switch to HPG 3000
Use the connection cable ZBE 30-02 which is supplied with the unit to connect the
HPG 3000 to the pressure switch.
After switching on the supply voltage the
message “
HPG
” appears in the display for
about 3 seconds, followed by “
LoAd
”.
When the “
mode
“ key is pressed, the data from the pressure switch is transferred to the
programming unit.
This is confirmed by the message “
rd
“ (
r
eceive
d
ata) in the display.
Before being able to read the data from the sensor, the data transfer method must
be set up in the Basic Menu, depending on whether it is a electronic pressure switch
EDS 4000 ["
4000
"] or EDS 800-L [„
800
”] (see chap. 7 Basic Menu).
If no pressure switch with programming input is connected, the error
message “
Er.21
” will appear in the display when you try to transfer data.
This message must to be acknowledged by pressing the
mode
key.
