11. Operating the device
after accidental manual operation of the
cabinet flap, blackout or new installation
After a blackout the control unit no longer recognizes the position of the cabinet
flap, the remote control will still be set in the control unit. By initiating a test drive
to the “open” and “closed” position with reduced speed the mechanical stops are
automatically verified by the control unit. In this situation the soft-close function
does not operate in an optimum manner. Furthermore, after recognition of the
mechanical stops, the cabinet flap will retreat from the stop by about 5 cm to
guarantee the crush guard. As soon as the control unit has recognized the end
position, it will move with normal speed again and operate with the customary
soft-close function.
Atention!
When opening manually (no electricity) higher opening forces have to be
considered. The cabinet might come off the wall.
12. Crush guard (safety function)
As soon as an obstacle is recognized
during an opening or closing procedure
the cabinet flap will move about
5 cm in
the opposite direction to unblock the
drive. Remove the object and press the
button again.
If, after several attempts, the end position has not been programmed
accurately enough, a new programming run drive can be enforced.
13. Enforcing a new programming run
Please proceed as follows:
13.1 Pull the plug to the control unit for at least 10 seconds
or alternatively
13.2 operate an installed remote control five consecutive times .
This will initiate a further programming run to determine and store the mechanical
stops.
