Position an appropriate container under the engine.
–
Remove oil drain plug

with the magnet.
–
Let the gear oil drain fully.
–
Thoroughly clean the oil drain plug with magnet.
–
Clean the sealing surface on the engine.
–
Mount and tighten the oil drain plug with the magnet and
new seal ring.

Remove filler plug

with the O-ring, and fill up with gear oil.

Too little gear oil or poor-quality gear oil results in pre-
mature wear to the transmission.

Mount and tighten filler plug

together with the O-ring.

Danger of poisoning
Exhaust gases are toxic and
inhaling them may result in unconsciousness and
death.

Always make sure there is sufficient ventilation
when running the engine.
–
Use effective exhaust extraction when starting or
running the engine in an enclosed space.
–
Start the engine and check it for leaks.
Finishing work
–
Check the gear oil level. ( p. 113)
