Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting schedule
If you cannot find a solution to your problems in this
owner's manual, speak to your Husqvarna service
agent.
Problem Cause
The starter motor does not turn
the engine over
The parking brake is not applied. See To apply and release the parking brake on
page 14
.
The lift lever for the cutting deck is in mow position. See
Safety circuit on page 8
.
The main fuse is blown. See To replace the main fuse on page 20 .
The ignition lock is defective.
The connection between the cable and the battery is bad. See

The battery is too weak. See

The starter motor is defective.
The engine does not start when
the start motor turns the engine
over
There is no fuel in the fuel tank. See To fill fuel on page 12 .
The spark plug is defective.
The ignition cable is defective.
There is dirt in the carburettor or fuel line.
The engine does not run smooth-
ly
The spark plug is defective.
The carburettor is incorrectly set.
The air filter is clogged. See To clean and change the air filter on page 19 .
The fuel tank vent is blocked.
There is dirt in the carburetor or fuel line.
The engine apparently has no
power
The air filter is clogged. See

The spark plug is defective.
There is dirt in the carburetor or fuel line.
The throttle cable is incorrectly adjusted.
The transmission does not have
sufficient power
The transmission cold air intake or the cooling fins are blocked.
The fan on the transmission is damaged.
There is no oil in the transmission or the oil level is too low. See

The battery does not charge The battery is defective. See
