3. Turn the start handle until the engine starts.
4. Let the engine operate at idle speed for 2–3 minutes.
5. Apply full throttle.
a) For products with a throttle control that is not
EPA:
b) For products with EPA throttle control: Pull the
position stop (A) up, and move the throttle control
to full throttle (B). Make sure that the throttle
control locks in the position.

To start the product with electrical start
Do this procedure if the product has an engine with
electrical start.
1. Set the throttle control to idle speed.

2. Turn the ignition key to the ignition position (A). The
indicators for battery charge and oil pressure come
on.
