Approved materials
WARNING: Do not make modifications on
the product to cut other materials than
concrete, bricks and different stone
materials. Do not install a wood saw chain
on the product.
This product is made to cut concrete, bricks and
different stone materials. Do not use the product for
other materials. The segments or the diamond chain can
break.
To cut reinforced concrete
• Cut the reinforcement together with as much
concrete as possible. This decreases the wear on
the diamond chain.
To cut into a thick object
1. Hold the product at an angle as shown in the
illustration.
2. Push the lower end of the guide bar tip 10 cm/3.94
in. into the wall. At the same time, lift the product
body until the guide bar is horizontal.
3. Lower and lift the product body as you continue to
push the guide bar and the diamond chain into the
wall.
To make a straight cut
1. Attach a long straight object as a support along the
line where the cut is to be made.
2. For the best result, cut first with a power cutter with a
Husqvarna special pre-cut blade.
WARNING: Do not use a power cutter
with a standard cutting blade for this first
cut. A standard cutting blade makes a
slot cut that is too thin. When you then
cut with the diamond chain, the too thin
slot causes dangerous kickback and
pinching of the diamond chain.
3. Cut the full length of the cut to a depth of 2-3 cm/
0.79-1.18 in. with the lower end of the guide bar.
Keep the guide bar against the support to make the
cut straight.
4. Lift the guide bar and diamond chain from the cut.
5. Go back to the start of the cut and cut 2-3 cm/
0.79-1.18 in. again, until the full length of the cut has
a depth of 5-10 cm/1.97-3.94 in.
