WARNING:
Do not clean the air filter
with compressed air. This causes damage to
the air filter and the risk increases that you
breathe the dangerous dust.
1. Examine the air filter indicator (A). If the air filter
indicator is red, it is necessary to clean the outer air
filter. Do not clean the inner air filter.
2. Open the 2 clamps of the air filter housing and
remove the air filter housing.

3. Remove the outer air filter (B).
4. Tap the outer air filter against a hard surface or use
a vacuum cleaner to remove the particles.
5. Examine the air filter hose and the hose clamps.
a) Replace damaged parts.
b) Tighten loose clamps.
6. Install the outer air filter.
7. Install the air filter housing and close the 2 clamps of
the air filter housing.
Note:
If the 2 clamps of the air filter housing
cannot be closed, the outer air filter is not correctly
installed.
CAUTION:
Always replace a damaged
air filter, or the dust will go into the engine
and cause engine damage. If the engine is
damaged because of a damaged air filter,
the warranty is voided. Refer to
.
To drain water from the gearbox
CAUTION:
Water in the gearbox can
cause corrosion and freeze damages.
1. Remove the cutting blade. Refer to
cutting blade on page 17
.
2. Push the lever for cutting depth adjustment forward
to lower the product to its lowest point.
3. At the front of the gearbox, put a container below the
gearbox. Loosen the plug.
4. At the rear of the gearbox, put a container below the
gearbox. Loosen the 2 plugs.
5. Let the water run out into the containers.
6. Tighten the plugs.
