1. Remove the screws (A) and the washers from the
side cover (B).

2. Remove the side cover (B).
3. Remove the scarifying drum (C).
4. Clean and lubricate the axle (D).
5. Install the new scarifying drum (C) on the axle (D).
6. Install the side cover (B) on the scarifying drum (C).
7. Install the screws (A) and the washers.
To examine the scarifying drum
• Examine the scarifying drum for wear. Replace if it is
damaged, refer to
To replace the scarifying drum on
page 12 .
To adjust the brake pressure
1. Loosen the nuts.

2. Adjust the bolt (B).
a) Turn the bolt up to decrease the pressure.
b) Turn the bolt down to increase pressure.
To do a check of the drive belt
• Do a check of the tension. If the tension is not
correct, change the horizontal position of the tension
pulley (A).

• Make sure that the drive belt (B) does not have
damages or visual defects.
