1. Set the product in maintenance position. Refer to
To
set the product in maintenance position on page 15 .
2. Remove the screws.
3. Replace the blades.
a) If the blade has wear on one edge only, turn the
blade 180 degrees and put it back.
b) If the blade has wear on the front and rear edge,
replace with a new blade.
4. Lubricate the blade shafts. Refer to
To lubricate the
blade shafts on page 15 .
Gearbox
It is not necessary to do maintenance on the gearbox. If
the gearbox is disassembled or repaired, let the service
center replace the oil. Refer to
Technical data on page
23
for recommended oil quality.
Troubleshooting
Problem Cause Solution
The product does not start. The fuel tank is empty. Fill the fuel tank.
The engine ON/OFF switch is in the
"OFF" position.
Set the engine ON/OFF switch to
"ON".
The fuel valve is closed. Open the fuel valve.
The engine is cold. Close the choke.
The engine is defective. Refer to the engine manual.
The blades do not rotate, or rotate
too slowly when the clutch control is
engaged.
The V-belt is damaged. Replace the V-belt.
The tension of the V-belt around the
belt pulleys is not sufficient.
Adjust the tension of the clutch wire.
The clutch wire is broken. Replace the clutch wire.
