Silencer

It is a legal requirement in some countries that the
silencer is fitted with a spark arrester mesh. Check the
mesh, clean or replace it if it is damaged. If a spark
arrester mesh is not required by law then a silencer
without spark arrester mesh should be used.
NOTE! A blocked spark arrester mesh can cause
overheating and result in damage to the cylinder.

Removal

Remove the cylinder cover. Unbolt the silencer cover.

Undo the two silencer bolts and remove the silencer.
Open up the silencer and clean it. Refit in the reverse
order to removal.
