OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
COMPRESSION
MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION
1. Daily maintenance is required to ensure that the tool is kept in good working condition.
2. Check pressure of tool with factory approved pressure gage.
3. Do not store the tool in a humid environment.
4. Wipe away any excess oil with a soapy cloth.
5. Provided that maintenance of the tool is carried out regularly, the tool should provide
many years of service.

1. Retract the ram by pressing the release button.
2. Select the appropriate size die set for the connector. Insert die half in ram by pressing into
place and secure by tightening the 3mm set screw with the provided allen key.
3. Secure the other die half in the C-Head by pressing into place and secure by tightening the
3mm set screw with the provided allen key.
4. Place the connector between the dies and press the trigger to advance the ram until the
connector is held in place and insert the cable into the connector.
5. Continue to press the trigger until the compression is completed. A clicking sound will be
heard while crimping and will stop once the crimp is complete. The motor will continue to run
in a neutral mode while the trigger is held.
6. Press the release trigger to retract the ram and remove the connection from the tool.
