• Staying for too long in one place can damage
the lawn surface.
Cleaning and maintenance
DANGER! Danger of injury!
Before starting
work, always check the ground and remove all
objects which could be thrown by the machine.
DANGER! Danger of injury!
Never release
the trigger while working.
Note:
The shorter the lawn has been cut, the
better it can be de-thatched/aerated.
Cleaning and maintenance overview
Prior to every start
Cleaning the machine
The machine should be cleaned immediately after
each use. Grass residue which dries in place is
very hard, and can be removed only with difficulty.
-
Empty the collecting sack.
-
Remove grass residue with a brush and a
plastic scraper if necessary (do not use sharp
equipment).
-
Remove deposits from the wheels.
-
Wipe the machine with a slightly damp cloth.
-
Never clean with water or a high pressure jet.
Storing, transport
Storing
What?
How?
Check mains plug and
cable for damage.
Inspect visually and, if
necessary, have the parts
replaced by a trained
electrician.
Check all screwed
connections and
tighten them if
necessary.
Remove all grass and
moss from the
ventilation slits of the
motor.
Remove them with a
vacuum cleaner or a
brush.
