REVEAL FIT (INSIDE MOUNT)
First, measure the blind and mark on
the face or architrave where to attach
the two installation brackets.
NOTE: 5mm past each end of
headrail.
Attach the installation brackets to
the wall or architrave using 2 screws
(20mm x 6# Panhead), (25mm x 6#
Panhead for render fix). Position the
screws diagonally as shown above,
however not too close to the edge
of render to avoid break away.
As with face fit, measure the blind and
mark on the ceiling where to attach the
two installation brackets, noting this
should be 5mm past the end of the
headrail. With the front edges of
the brackets aligned, attach the
brackets to the top of the reveal or
ceiling with the screws supplied (20mm
x 6# Panhead), (25mm x 6# Panhead
for render fix).
FACE FIT (OUTSIDE MOUNT)
Attach the two installation brackets
inside the window frame, flush against
each side and the top of the window
frame. Align the front edges of the
installation brackets. Pack down if
necessary to ensure the brackets allow
level mounting of the headrail. Two
screws (20mm x 6# Panhead) are used
to attach each bracket. For the most
secure installation, fasten one screw to
the top and one screw to the side of the
frame as indicated.

CENTRE SUPPORT BRACKETS (CONT.)
Important: Avoid positioning support brackets in line with the
tape drums.
Blinds over 2900mm in height and multiple blinds on one headrail
over 2400mm require an additional support bracket to be positioned
200mm from the cordlock end of the headrail. Use 2 screws to
attach each support bracket, positioned diagonally wherever
possible. Ensure brackets are aligned with end mount brackets.

Extension brackets can be used with
face fit (outside) to project the
brackets away from the mounting
surface to allow the blind to clear
obstructions, such as window
winders, locks etc.
Note: A full width piece of timber
may be the better option to
pack out blind, as it is more
stable than individual pieces
of timber.

Hold-down brackets are used to
keep the bottom of the blind from
swaying when mounted on doors or
exposed to the wind.
The hold-down brackets are inside
or outside mounted at the bottom
of the window opening. With the
blind fully lowered, place the
hold-down brackets onto the pins
on the end of the bottom rail and
mark mounting hole locations.
Attach hold-down brackets with
screws provided. With the bottom
rail attached to the hold-down
brackets, the slats may be opened
or closed. Disconnect the rail from
the brackets to raise and lower the
blind.

The installation brackets may be Reveal (inside the window frame)

cases, level mounting is critical to the operation of the blind (use
carpenter’s level). To open the end mount bracket press up on the
bottom side of the bracket to release the locking safety cover.

Blinds over 1200mm wide and blinds
1000mm-1200mm wide and with a drop
greater than 2000mm must have
1 support bracket. Blinds over 1801mm
wide must have 2 support brackets and
blinds greater than 2200mm must have
3 support brackets. Space the support
brackets as evenly as possible between the
two end brackets. There should be no
more than 1200mm between any two
brackets
.
Please be aware that blind cords or chains pose a strangulation
hazard for children.
To reduce the risk of strangulation this
internal window covering must be installed in such a way
that a loose cord cannot form a loop 220 mm or longer at a
height of less than 1600mm above floor level.
Your blind is provided with a cord cleat. It is essential that
the following installation instructions are adhered to:
• If a cleat is used to secure the cord, it must be at least
1600mm above floor level to prevent children from
unwinding the cord from the cleat.
This pack includes the following child safety devices:
• Safety Cleat Pack – 26.228.000
• Hold Down Bracket & Pin Set– 26.185.XXX
NOTE
:
• These safety devices
MUST
be installed and used.
• Ensure the bottomrail of your blind is secured into the hold
down bracket while the blind is in the down position.
