Connect to an Ethernet Switch
Use the following instructions to connect the data cable to an Ethernet Switch. See the Ethernet Switch
installation guide for information about connecting cables.
1.
Connect the data cable connector to an available port on the Ethernet Switch. Hand-tighten the screw
nut
on the cable to secure the connection.
2.
Connect an Ethernet cable to an available port on the Ethernet Switch.
3.
ONIX/SOLIX:
Insert the Ethernet cable connector into the Ethernet port on the control head.
HELIX:
Connect the Ethernet cable connector to one end of an AS EC QDE adapter cable connector
and
insert the other end into the Ethernet port on the control head.
4.
If the cable connector has a screw nut, hand-tighten the screw nut to secure the connection.
5.
Confirm there is enough cable slack to allow for the control head to pivot through its full tilt range and
for
connecting or disconnecting the cables.
