USER MANUAL

BRAKE USAGE/ADJUSTMENT

LOCK THE BRAKE

  by  pushing  down  on  the 

handle (for loop handle, push down on the ball 

located at the end of the handle).  The handle 

will  lock  into  a  downward  position  when 

properly engaged.

RELEASE THE BRAKE

  by  pulling  up  on  the 

handle.   

BRAKE FOR SPEED CONTROL

  by 

squeezing on the handle.

IF THE HAND BRAKE IS TOO LOOSE

 

loosen  the 

Locking Nut

  and  turn  the 

Tension Adjustment Screw 

CLOCKWISE

.

NOTE: 

If 

additional 

adjustment  is  required, 

repeat  one  full  turn  at  a 

time.    Once  adjusted,  make 

sure the 

Locking Nut

 is spun 

tight  against  the 

Housing

.  

This will prevent the 

Tension 

Adjustment Screw 

from 

loosening.

When  receiving  your  new  walker,  the  brake 

system  will  be  preset  from  the  factory.    To 

maintain  this  preset  position,  be  sure  that  the 

Locking Nut 

is  tight  against  the 

Housing

.    This 

is  the  same  for  the 

Tension Adjustment Screw 

Locking Nut

 located at the rear wheel.  (To adjust 

see: Brake Usage/Adjustment)
