Pointing tools
Hughes has developed two tools that make antenna pointing
easier, faster, and more accurate. Both tools are optional;
however, Hughes highly recommends that you use one of them
for easier and more accurate antenna pointing. The pointing tools
are:

DiSEqC antenna pointing tool (DAPT)
•
Outdoor pointing interface (OPI)
Both devices display values that indicate signal strength during
antenna pointing, eliminating the need for a laptop computer at
the antenna installation site.
DAPT
The DAPT, Hughes P/N 1501471-0002, is a digital satellite
equipment control (DiSEqC) tool. It has two connectors, a large
back-lit display, and three buttons, as shown in Figure 43. For
Ku-band antenna pointing, only the Advance button (button 3) is
used.
